Ribes alpinum Alpine currant Alternate, simple and 3-lobed (5-lobed possible), the 1-2" leaves are bright green, triangular ovate to sometimes rhombic, incised and serrate. 2 pictures total. Neither the flowers nor the fruit are ornamentally significant. It grows in an upright form to a height of 1 foot, with active growth during the spring and summer. Alpine currant is one tough cookie.
